A New Year of Open Doors
“I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it.” Revelation 3:8
It's the start of the new Jewish Year 5784 by Sep 15, 2023 IST. I'd like to draw your attention to the 4th letter of the Hebrew alphabet, DALET, which means door.
“ ד” has two lines, and it looks like a tent opening, but the alphabet looks like a person bent low, or with his head down, so Dalet also indicates humility.
Dalet has the numerical value of four, but Chinese don't like the sound of four. The number four is a favorable number in Hebrew, representing good news, as we have four gospels. Four is also a number that applies to our physical world. There are four directions, four seasons, four corners of the world, and four essential chemical elements CHON that are critical for all living organisms.
Spirtually, the tabernacles consist of four camps forming a cross, and they also have four gates. Consequently, I embrace number 4 since it represents God's presence and restoration. 2 Samuel 12:6 says "He shall restore the lamb fourfold."
I wish to bless everyone that the new year will be a year of "open doors." Specifically, I wish everyone access to the doors of the spiritual realm and the doors of opportunity on earth. As Jesus says “I am the door” (John 10:9) and He stands at the door and knocks. (Rev 3:20) Through Jesus, we have direct access to the mercy seat where God dwells without having to pass through the doors of the tabernacle. In the new year, I wish you an amazing spiritual breakthrough and incredible revelation from God. We have wide and powerful access to God.
My second blessing is to give you open doors that mark new opportunities for your ministry, whether it is evangelism, starting new businesses and jobs, or entering new relationships. The Lord will open doors as Paul describes "for a great and effective door has opened to me" (1 Cor. 16:9), but always remember that not every door is from God, only those who are in spirit can discern it. My prayer is that God's door for us is wide and open so we won't miss it.
Since we are in the decade of 80 (5784), which means "pey" in Hebrew alphabet, pey means mouth declaration, I encourage you to constantly declareand proclaim that “this is the year of the open door! ” Rosh Hashanah!
Blessing prayer: We are ready to enter your open door and no man can shut it! You make all things new. In Jesus’ name, Amen
