Faith That Amazes Jesus

Bible Verse: For I also am a man placed under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.” Luke 7:8

In the story of the Centurion, we find a faith that not only moved mountains but also marveled Jesus It wasn't just the Centurion's love for his servant or his generous heart for the community that caught Jesus' attention; it was his profound understanding of authority. The Centurion knew that real faith operates beyond our five physical senses, grasping the unseen and recognizing the principle of kingdom authority. "Go," and it's done; "Come," and it happens. He saw that faith is interwoven with the understanding of divine authority. Today, we are reminded that Jesus has bestowed upon us this very authority. Our faith, like the Centurion's, is called to rise above the visible circumstances and trust in the command of Jesus.

Reflection Question:
Is there any area of unbelief in your life that is hindering you from exercising the authority given to you by Christ?

Prayer and Declaration:
Lord Jesus, we are inspired by the Centurion's faith that marveled You. We ask for such great faith. In Your name, we declare that we have been given authority over the powers of darkness, as stated in Luke 10:19. We stand firm in this truth, confident that when we command in Your name, our requests align with Your will. Grant us faith like the Centurion's, who believed that at Your word, things will come to pass. Today, we activate the spirit of faith, trusting fully in Your power and authority. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
